Yes indeed - when you see the big picture in quite a clear way… you tend to speak less and do more… no need to receive validation from other sources… you simply say “ok - this is what it is - wow!” what’s funny though is the fact that as humans we are so limited… really just a step above animals… the entire universe for that matter is on auto-pilot - the complexities lie in the fact that they are what they are. when you take lots of different things and put them together in a unified whole - you have a very sophisticated system but each piece is very simple… a S I M P L E Theory I guess

Ok - well less than 2 weeks to that grand CD Release party ; ) The CD’s should be arriving in a little over a week - just in time for Saturday - June 7th! Something about seeing the CD when it arrives… all packaged up that makes me feel like I did something special… all the years work - right there in that shinny - little package

I look forward to seeing many of you at the show - although this is a celebration of S I M P L E Theory… in the grand scheme… it’s about all of us - the collective scene that makes the whole

Things seem to be moving along smoothly with regards to our upcoming CD Release Party - June 7th. Press releases were sent today - posters - information is all set and ready to go. We have already started selling advance tickets and the CD’s are being manufactured as we speak

Not much else to say… other than thank you to all our fans for giving us the support to make this happen and I will be sure to keep you posted as we count our way down to the Party

Well… S I M P L E Theory has now been around for 1 year! can you believe it? It has been such a pleasure singing - performing and writing with Brittany Music is good for the ’soul’ and I must say S I M P L E Theory has been indeed the remedy.

Our debut CD set for release on June 7th at the Joseph Bruno Theatre in Downtown Troy - 6:00 PM sharp will be ready to get into all your pretty little hands. The songs came out great - and we feel it is a true representation of our live performances this past year. We are really excited about what lies beyond this milestone and hope you can all come celebrate with us on June 7th

More details will be forthcoming in the following weeks for this show - with advance ticket purchase available.

Thought I would write something since the last entry was 2 months ago… time is fast to pass slow to come… don’t quite get it? Anyways… that is another BLOG entry Well… LIfE has been both great and sad… my mom is getting older and it’s hard to see her the way she is… but on the flip-side I am happy that she is still with me and I can enjoy her friendship

My mom is a great source of happiness, and inspiration for me I have her to thank for my music

I think that’s all I have to say! short and sweet

hey there! thanks to all of you that came out to the Ale House this past Saturday - we packed the place and it was a great time just as we imagined it!
Some of the tracks from the show will be added to our upcoming LIVE CD ‘Lightning in a Bottle’ — yes I know — it was suppossed to be ready by now we are making great progress however and are excited to share the disc as soon as it comes back from the presses

S I M P L E Theory (MAURIZIO & the amazing technicolor — Brittany Robichaud!)

So here is the first official post being made under the S I M P L E Theory name — pretty cool I must say ok… so what do I talk about… hummm — good question… well; things have been going great for Brittany & I - we have been filling our mailing list with new fans every week and the response has been simply gratifying so thanks all you new S I M P L E Theory fans — woooooo!

Our first CD release “Lightning in a Bottle” is set for release this month of FEBRUARY– although production is just about done - we need to have it go to press before it gets into all your hands… we have not set an official CD release party date but will be sure to keep you posted. Once mastering is complete we will upload some sample tracks for you all to listen to before the disc returns from the presses.

Our next big show that we have marked is THE TROY ALE HOUSE — Saturday - February 16th. You can get more details on this at our site via the calendar page.

So that’s about it in a nut-shell — we are working hard to make every show better than the last and most of all… have one great time with all of you!!!

I was listening to 90.3 MPR the other day, and there was a show on, which I can’t remember the name or who the radio host was for that matter… But it was about extremely bright self-taught individuals who for the most part had the skills to literally build their own Radios, Household appliances, Time machines… you get the message

These were really smart cats! One of these luminaries that was being interviewed made a great point that sparked off an epiphany. You see… in order to understand or even relate to what a Quantum Physicist has to say… I mean truly understand in scientific terms… you personally need to learn Algebra, then Pre-Calculus, then Calculus, and on and on and on until you are able to grasp Quantum Physics on a truly intimate level and hence forth see things with a deep clarity.

Ok… what was my epiphany…? My point is the simple fact that in life if you don’t personally experience all the trials and tribulations and GROW from those experiences… then well… you will be stuck in 8th Grade Algebra, doomed to face the same drama over and over again until you pass! And then go on to the next kevel

So if I am trying to give advice to someone from where I am at, and they are not where I am at, no matter how hard I try to get my point across… it’s not going to truly sink in unless they have experienced enough to grasp what the hell my point is. The same goes for someone that has experienced more than me, they can share their experience and point me in the right direction, but unless I experience certain things myself… I will never get the true message.

Life is all about learning, tasting, feeling and then putting those experiences into practice in a way that enhances our lives. That’s all we really have… all of the present moment is an experience if we are open to it.
